Meet Pearl

Pearl is a 10-month-old Cavoodle who has been coming to us since she was 11 weeks old. Earlier this month, Pearl came in for a front limb check after she jumped out of her owner's arms, yelped, and became lame.

After administering pain relief, sedation, and taking radiographs, we quickly discovered that Pearl had bilateral radial ulna fractures (see x-ray). She was referred to Dr. Dan Wills at Coast Orthovet the next day, where she received pain relief and was instructed to rest in a cage in the meantime.

Recently, Pearl returned for a re-check and suture removal, and we are pleased to say that she is healing well. Pearl has shown incredible bravery during her recovery.
