Meet Eddie

Eddie is a 12 year old Staffy who presented to us after run in with the postman's bike..

After a physical exam and radiographs, it was confirmed that Eddie had suffered from a fractured tibia and fibula.

With the help of our wonderful Nurses and Dr Darren, Eddie underwent general anaesthetic and had corrective orthopaedic surgery.

Dr Darren was able to stabilise the fracture using a bone plate and screws (as seen in the second image)

Eddie has a long recovery period to endure, but we hope that will lots of rest, medication, and love, that he will have a full recovery.
